I am an independent funeral celebrant in Surrey, creating warm, personal funeral ceremonies, celebrations of life and green burial ceremonies. I'm Polly Fergusson, a funeral celebrant based in Surrey. I spent years as a journalist and communications professional, helping people find the right words for important stories.
My experience taught me how to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions and uncover the details that make every story unique.
I bring that same listening, curiosity and care to every family I meet. Every ceremony begins with a conversation, never a template.
I’m a fully trained and certified Independent funeral celebrant, and a proud member of the United Kingdom Society of Celebrants , a professional training organisation and membership body for civil celebrants

Where I work
I'm based in Ashtead, Surrey, and work with families across Leatherhead, Epsom, Chessington, Cobham, Dorking, Reigate, Banstead and surrounding villages.
I also work throughout Surrey, West Sussex and Greater London, and I'm happy to travel further if needed.
